Description

This thermal transfer wax ribbon is a premium resin enhanced wax ribbon. The ribbon is predominately made of wax components that allows it to print easily on coated paper and uncoated papers. The wax allows the ink to flow and fill the rougher surfaces of these matte substrates. Resin is added to the wax to give it hardness, durability, smudge resistance, and also aides in print quality and edge definition. Wax ribbons are best suited for short term use on coated and uncoated papers, tinted/flood coated labels and matte poly materials like Kimdura. This ribbon is ideally suited for Intermec 8646, 3400 Printers and measures 3.00 inches x 509 feet. These ribbons are sold 36 ribbons per case.
